I love the bottom color, but I didn't care too much for the top color where the push button is. There is no way to use the top color as an individual color besides pressing down the button which squeezes the color out of the brush which mixes the top color with the bottom to create a gradient. The colors kind of get mixed and it can get a little messy or too much product may come out. All these problems can be avoided however if you get the newer version. I'm only keeping it because the bottom color is a beautiful peachy marsala color but i don't intend to use the bright red color.
